How to Place an Order

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

Once you find what you would like to purchase, please follow these steps below to add the items to your shopping cart.

Step 1 - Adding Item to Cart 

Select the item you would like then simply click on "Add to Cart".  On the product details page, change the number in the box marked "Quantity" to the number you wish to purchase and then click “Update”. If you only wish to purchase one, then you do not have to change anything. The box is automatically populated with a quantity of "1". When you have the quantity you wish to order and all information is correct, click the "Checkout" button.

Step 2 - Viewing Items in Cart

On the shopping cart page, you can delete an item from your cart by clicking the box to the left of the item (a checkmark will show), then click “Remove”. You can also order a different quantity by changing the number in the quantity box and clicking "Update".   

Step 3 - Keep Shopping

If you would like to shop some more, just click the "Continue Shopping" text at the top of the page.  Any time you would like to view your cart you can always click on the “View Cart” button at the top right of the page.

Step 4 - Checkout

If you are ready to check out, click the "Checkout" button on the bottom right-hand side of the page.

What Taxes Does RTI-Express Charge?

RTI-Express charges sales tax to customers in the following states based on “Ship To” locations. 

MA       5%

OH       7%

PA        6%

TX        8.25%

UT        6.5%

What If An Item Is Out Of Stock?

Sometimes certain delays are beyond our control. If an item is out of stock RTI will contact you directly.  Please make sure your contact information is correct when you checkout.  RTI will process orders as soon as they are available.  

 

 

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only by contacting our Customer Service Department at  800-468-2321 x 1 within 24 hours of ordering.  We may be able to cancel your order.   

If your order has already been shipped cancellation is not possible. If you attempted to cancel the order within the allotted time (24 hours after placing the order), no restocking fee will be charged if the package is refused. 

However, if you did not contact Customer Service within the allotted time of 24 hours after placing the order, a 15% restocking fee will be assessed to your refund.   Any order which contain electronics such as but not limited to circuit boards, consumables and equipment are non-returnable. All shipping charges incurred whether cancelled, returned or refused are non-refundable and will be billed to the credit card used for ordering. 

 

What Happens Once My Order is Placed?

Once you have completed the checkout process, you will be informed via an email confirmation.  It is important that you enter your email address correctly for this notification.  Please keep this email confirmation for your records.

We offer several shipping options for most orders under 150lbs., sent to addresses within the Continental United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).  You may select any of the options indicated in the shipping method.

  • Items ordered together are not always shipped together 

 

Items that require liftgate service or other special needs must be indicated when you checkout or additional charges may apply.

Please note: 'Business Days' are Monday through Friday; RTI-Express does not process orders on Saturday, Sunday, or regular holidays, nor do our carriers deliver on these days.

All shipping rates are based on physical delivery location from York, PA.  Order processing time is 2-4 days; most items are delivered within (8-10) business days.

 

 

Shipping Charges

Items over 150lbs must be sent via an independent freight company, and an additional handling fee may apply. Please read below for more information regarding oversized shipping.  

 

Oversized Shipping

Items that are oversized, weigh over 150 pounds, or require special handling will ship separately from other items that you order and will incur an additional handling fee. These items will ship via freightliner.

Freightliner Handling Fee Schedule:

  • If liftgate service is required please indicate in the checkout section of your order as a $50 fee will apply for liftgate service.  If not selected in the order and a liftgate service is needed additional fees will apply and be charged to your credit card.
  • The driver is responsible to bring the product to the "tailgate" of the trailer; from that point it is your responsibility to unload the item.

After You Have Received Your Order

After you have received your order you have 30 days to return the item.   All returned items are subject to inspection and must be in original packaging and must have an RMA visible on the package.  RTI reserves the right to refuse the return.

Damaged/Non-Working Items

All returns must receive an RMA, without an RMA RTI will refuse the return.  The RMA must be visible on the outside of the original package.  All shipping costs incurred with your order are non-refundable. Any order which contain electronics such as but not limited to circuit boards, consumables and equipment are non-returnable.

 

If you receive an item and it is damaged, not working or missing parts you may:

·                   Return any item, please call our customer service department at 800-468-2321 x 1 to obtain an RMA and to arrange the return.  All returns to RTI must be within 30 days of when the order was received at the ship to location, we will process an exchange of damaged/non-working merchandise.

·                   Returns must be have an RMA and be post-marked, within 30-Days from the date received and in re-sellable condition and in original packaging. You will be responsible for all return shipping costs on non-defective items, unless damaged in shipment. 

 

Restocking Fees

A 15% re-stocking fee will be assessed in the following situations:

·                   All returns or any order cancelled after the 24 hour cancellation period. (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected or refused) 

·                   Non-defective merchandise returned in visibly used, or damaged condition

·                   Orders "Refused" without authorization

·                   Any return that is not the result of defective/damaged merchandise or a shipping error

 

How to Return An Item

To return an item, please call our customer service department at 800-468-2321 x 1 to obtain an RMA.  We will provide you with return instructions. Returns must be post-marked, within 30-Days from the date received and in re-sellable condition and in original packaging.  RTI has the right to refuse any returns if this process is not followed.  The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs on non-defective items, unless damaged in shipment.

Exceptions:

·                   Items over 150lbs are governed by our Large Item Return Policy

·                   Restocking Fees will apply

 

Packing and Sending Your Return

When getting your item ready to send back, please make sure that the item meets the following guidelines:

·                   The item is in its original box and original packaging

·                   The product is securely packaged to avoid damage

·                   The product is sent with all of its parts and manuals

·                   Must show RMA on the outside of the package

 

Large Item Return Policy

Large items or items on skids are governed by a separate Return Policy. Be sure to carefully inspect all Heavy Item (freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading as freightliner handling charges cannot be refunded.  If items arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery to avoid paying actual freight charges. Please notify us at 800-468-2321 x 1 of any delivery problems as soon as possible to expedite the refund process.

Please note that you will be responsible for the actual freight costs in the following instances:

·                   You miss your delivery appointment

·                   You refuse or return a non-damaged, non-defective item

 

 

Refunds

Once we receive your return, please allow 14-Days for us to inspect and process your return refund. Credit Card purchases will be refunded to the account you provided when you placed your order.  All shipping fees and restocking fees incurred with the order will be billed to the credit card used at the time of purchase.

 

Warranty and Parts Info

After 30 days, purchases made from RTI-Express are no longer covered by our Return Policy. After this time, products are covered by their respective Warranty and in most cases, may be brought to an Authorized Service Center for repair.   Please keep your original order acknowledgement that you received when you placed your order, you will need to present this to the Service Center for installation or repair.

·                   To find the nearest RTI Authorized Service Center in your area, you may   visit www.rtitech.com and select “Partners” at the top of the homepage and then select “Service Centers”.  Enter your zip code and you will see a list of Service Centers near you.  If there are no Service Centers listed please contact RTI at 800-468-2321 x 1.

·                   Most replacement parts and accessories on RTI-Express have a 90 day warranty (items such as but not limited to filters, o-rings, etc. do not have warranties).  For specific warranty questions please contact RTI at 800-468-2321 x 1.
